Welcome to the latest art to emerge from the contemporary visionaries as seen through the eyes of Platinum Cheese.

Greg Simkins | INLE @ Gallery 1988

There were rabbits, rabbits, everywhere at Gallery 1988 last Friday night as guest curator and artist Greg Simkins presented the highly anticipated group show, INLE. With over 100 talented artists exhibiting their interpretation of Watership Down's anti-hero, the Black Rabbit, you're instantly plunged into a delightful sensory overload. From the trippy depictions of Anthony Ausgang and Naoto Hattori to the depraved renderings of Shawn Barber and Dave Correia and everything in between, you'll get your fill and then some. So, when you stop by Gallery 1988 to see the exhibit, you'll probably want to devote a good chunk of time viewing the artwork. Show runs until April 9th.

Also, check out this interview between gallery owner, Jensen Karp, and Greg Simkins as they talk about the concept of the show, Greg's contribution, and some of his favorite pieces.
