Hi.

'Round the Hood: JR & Liu Bolin in New York

In preparations for his show at Eli Klein Fine Art, Chinese artist Liu Bolin recently collaborated with French artist JR to donate art to the streets of New York City. Bolin is known for masking himself into his photographs thereby earning himself the nickname 'The Invisible Man'.  JR is know for his large scale photo murals that highlight the individuals who inhabit the surrounding neighborhoods.

First JR wheat-pasted a photo mural of Bolin and then Bolin reciprocated by camouflaging JR into his own art with his signature aesthetic.  The result is incredibly stunning. Check out some progress shots below via New York Street Art.
